When you walk into The Hair Society, my station will be directly in front of you and I will greet you with a “Hey!” and a smile :)

You’ll have a seat in my chair and we’ll chat about lifestyle, maintenance, and hair goals so that we can create the perfect plan for you.

Once we have our plan, I’ll get started on creating your perfect look and - my favorite part - getting to know you!

What to expect

  • When it comes to payment for your hair service, I gladly accept a variety of convenient methods, including credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Venmo. While I do accept checks and cash as well, please note that I do not keep cash on hand and am unable to provide change. Unfortunately, I do not accept CashApp at this time.

  • Cancellation & late arrival

    I appreciate at least 48 hours notice of any appointment cancellations in order to be able to offer that spot to another guest.

    If you cancel within 48 hrs a charge of 10% of the booked appointment will automatically be charged through Square. If cancellation occurs with less than 24 hours notice, 25% of the appointment will be charged.

    I understand emergencies happen! Family health emergencies and personal health emergencies would waive the above fees.

    If you are running late please contact me at 815-266-9618. If you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment I will still do my best to accomplish everything we scheduled you for, however some things may need to be adjusted.

  • At the conclusion of your service, I typically reserve 15 minutes for a complimentary hair photoshoot, particularly after a color treatment. This fun, mini photoshoot will take place near the salon entrance, where we'll capture your stunning new look from various angles! If you prefer not to have your photos taken, please let me know and I will absolutely respect your wishes. :) For those participating, I kindly ask that you wear neutral or earthy tones such as tans, browns, blacks, whites, or dark green to best showcase your fresh, fabulous hairstyle.
